We fast during this season from the things that gratifies the flesh.
We also examine, assess ourselves and know the condition of our soul and spiritual life.
Repairs, restitution and repentance are made.
We journey thought the scriptures that speaks of Christ great sacrifice, suffering and even the death on the Cross, these purifies us from all sins and lustful desires of the flesh and bring us to a new level of spirituality, rejuvenated by His Spirit. When we go through the cross we go through spiritual cleansing, renewal and purification that bring us to experience new life in Christ through His resurrection.
